James Avery Hello Elena. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity after the town hall meeting was over sharing some concerns of mine regarding upcoming compliance hearing relating to inappropriate signage 1840 Mason Mill Road. Just wanting to repeat some of my thoughts having shared with you that evening as we were walking down that long hallway. First I quoted Martin Luther King's "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." Then I asked what that quote means to you? Although you attempted answering my question, it was apparent to me this was a question having caught you off guard; one needing more time/thought put into it. So I went ahead and shared what is now my current understanding of this quote by MLK resulting from my experience over these signs of mine having everyone upset. "If there is a line that can be reached where you resort to manipulation, deception, perniciousness, prevarication, looking the other way, refusing to acknowledge, feigning ignorance; then in the end after all is said and done, I don't care how far apart these lines are, you (The Progressives!) are no different or better than them (The Conservative!)." Next, I spoke of the neighborhood I'm wanting to believe I live being one that extends halfway around the world in all four directions to a same point in the "Indian" Ocean; that you can't get any bigger a neighborhood than this. That a person who actively makes an effort thinking like this is going to think/behave differently than one believing just Mason MIll, Decatur, Georgia, the South, USA, etc., to be his/hers/their neighborhood. Then I finished off with "Bias can be real, as well as pernicious, without being legally actionable.

James Avery Again, before this upcoming trial/code compliance hearing April 18 that very well may end up with me in jail for three weeks, it would be nice of you reaching out to me and allowing me a chance explaining my actions. Otherwise, if unable finding anyone supportive of anything I'm trying to stand up for, then, I'm ready to give up. Having the Sherry Boston/Charles Butts sign in mind which was censored by Fox5News, If Dylan Roof still prefers life in prison as opposed to death by lethal injection, I would like to discuss the possibility of State of Georgia doing a prisoner swap with State of South Carolina. In exchange, I will forgo all appeals in South Carolina contesting Dylan's death sentence, in the process, saving South Carolina time and money; State of Georgia getting to decide Dylan Roof fate after Dylan first earning a Master of Divinity certificate from Emory the same as they did with Kelly Gissendaner; "There is no greater an agony than a story needing to be told." ~Maya Angelou

Mary Alice Bray I couldn't find a place to park. Could you have the next meeting at the elementary school? There seems to be a lot more parking there.
