DeKalb County Mobile Crisis Unite and DeKalb County Police

"If you really want to keep guns out of the hands
of
the mentally(?) ill/disturbed,
you pour more money into the other end of America's healthcare!"

DeKalb Mobile Crisis Unit Nurse Rease
escorted by
DeKalb County Police Officer Charles

Learned Nurse Vickie Jacobs and Bob Duckworth no longer with DeKalb County Mobile Crisis Unit..?
Except for one visit, always a different cop?

***

"They keep records of these visits on file,
but,
I'm not allowed receiving copies of these records in my file
because
they list the names of these people calling them out to my place.  Maybe
we should be checking them out instead..?"

Probation Supervisor Officer Davis

Can't help but be concerned, how, yesterday's  probation revocation hearing  left with the impression Officer Davis was on the other team..?  His behavior this visit, how he suddenly wasn't in a hurry after mentioning he just missed Officer Charles and Nurse Rease's visit, certainly not helping me feel at ease?

Hello Bob,

I recently received this email:

Did you send this email or has my account been hacked?

Although I'm pretty sure I've made you aware of the recent blindness my right eye, do not remember us discussing the blindness in detail enough for you to have been able coming up with this as a possible differential diagnosis..?  But it's freaky how I've already been wondering about the poppers,  which I had been doing heavily at the time, as a possible cause for the blindness.  Don't know why I haven't volunteer this information to the eye specialist...either?

Thought it best to play it safe and ask.

Sincerely yours,

Simply Jim

Dear Mr. Avery-

Dear Mr. Avery,

Yes, I sent the email with the article link. I am not making a diagnosis, it is out of my scope of practice.
How about making an appointment with the DeKalb Addiction Clinic to see about getting off the meth?
404-892-4646 is the DeKalb CSB central access number.

Sincerely,

Bob Duckworth

Hello Bob,

First, there is a big difference between "diagnosis" and "differential diagnosis".

Second, why then, did you send me a link to this article about Poppers Maculopathy/Retinopathy?  Just curious?

Third, based on what you've heard from me so far, what is DeKalb Addiction Clinic able offering me that will make a difference...long term?  I'm sure you know as well as I do, that, after the admission of an addiction (which I've already done by being the one, first, telling everyone starting with Janet Claire Segers Gary whom I'd wrongly assumed to be my only friendly neighbor at the time/not the other way around as a "true" intervention are supposed to done), what DeKalb CSB has to offer is not the most important factor determining success with drug addictions treatment.

Think Corey Monteith.

If you do not agree with this statement, then I suggest you go back and read the part highlighted in red again.  I don't care how many successes DeKalb CSB have had with drug addictions, they still do not get the credit for these successes.  Don't get me wrong here.  I do understand DeKalb CSB has an important role to play in drug addictions therapy; but it has to be interpreted in it's rightful context.

Otherwise all the visits to my home by DeKalb Crisis Mobile Unit have turned out more or less the same usefulness as prayers are with our churches:

ART OF POSTPONING A DECISION UNTIL NO LONGER RELEVANT.

Remember now, these calls are not mine DeKalb County Mobile Crisis Unit have been pandering to; in fact, the reason I can't get copies of reports written up about these visits..

Sincerely yours,

Not Defined, Undefined, Unidentified~g(8!0)d~James E. Avery, D.V. M.

Hello Mr. Avery-

Diagnosis, differential or otherwise, is outside my scope of practice.

I stumbled across the article and thought, based on information you have shared with me and your medical background, that you might be interested in both the topic and the article.

What can I do to help you?

Sincerely,
Bob

Hello Bob,

I have already made some suggestions as to how you might help me.

Within your job description...

Probably nothing?

As an agent for DeKalb County...

I am aware anything outside of your job description might possibly put your job at risk?

At this point, I have not a clue.

Sincerely yours,

DeKalb County Mobile Crisis Unit: Bob Duckworth - Regarding Central Access?

Hello Bob,

Spoke to "Central Access"  and they said I was going to have to go through Superior Court to receive a copy of these reports written up about these trips to my home by our DeKalb County Mobile Crisis Unit; something about protecting the identity of callers prompting these visits.Maybe I should go on a homicidal killing rampage just to unmask the identity of these callers.

Just kidding!

"The mystery to me is not that there are massacre, but rather, how there aren't 10,000 of them every year."
~(Adam Lanza)~

However, I'm now no longer able faulting the likes of Adam Lanza for their actions.  Not after my experience, still ongoing, with these NEXTDOOR.COM Mason Mill neighbors of mine; DeKalb County at large actually.  Had I been able, I would have volunteered myself as a witness to Adam Lanza defense by pointing out the likes of Mason MIll Civic Association President Mary Hinkel, even Georgia General Assembly members Senator Elena Parent and Rep. Mary Margaret Oliver.  For a community which takes pride in its association with nearby secular Methodist  Liberal  Arts and  Science campus of Emory University, if this is the best they can do within their own neighborhood, it must work like "bad" breath; they can't smell their own!

Anyway,  sure!  I'm up for another visit this weekend if you can spare the time.  I'm wanting to show you a few things out of what records I did manage receiving copies relating to my involuntary commitment  DeKalb Crisis Center and Georgia Regional Hospital.

Sincerely yours,

James E. Avery, D.V.M.

P.S.

If possible, I want you to listen to conversation between me and three DKPD officers this past Tuesday.  It's the video at the very end of blog entry the following link:

Hello Bob,

Surprised me seeing you had addressed me as Dr. Jim.  I have not been able...YET...getting that joke of a public defender Whitney Gibbs addressing me as either Dr. Avery, Jim Ed or just simply... Jim.

I MAY NOT BE HER VETERINARIAN, BUT GOD DAMN, SOMEONE SURE NEEDS TO BE!

Considering African-American history, I am aware this statement (same as these monkeys hanging by their necks off larger-than-life cross my front yard) will probably be construed
as racist as well; regardless how many times I explain over and over and over and over...AGAIN...not to be the case.  I don't care how black she be; still a... FEMALE!

IF YOU READ ONLY ONE,  AT LEAST READ THE ONE ABOVE!

I've checked out Institute for Justice site.   Even sent in a request for their help with my case.  Doubt I will hear from them though.  We will see?

The Institute for Justice (IJ) is a non-profit libertarian public interest law firm in the United States. It has litigated five cases considered by the United States Supreme Court dealing with topics that included eminent domaininterstate commercepublic financing for electionsschool vouchers, and tax credits for private school tuition. The organization was founded in 1991. As of June 2016, it employed a staff of 95 (including 39 attorneys) in Arlington, Virginia and seven offices across the United States. Its 2016 budget is $20 million.

William H. "Chip" Mellor and Clint Bolick co-founded the organization in 1991 with seed money from libertarian philanthropist Charles Koch.

The organization provides pro bono legal advice and representation to clients. According to the organization, it selects cases based on the client's ability to pay (giving preference to clients who do not have the means to obtain other representation), and on the case's potential to publicize and educate the public on the issues involved.

What I found most interesting when reading up on Institute for Justice; learning that Charles Koch was a Libertarian.

Charles Koch is a classical liberal and has formerly identified as a libertarian. He is opposed to corporate welfare and told the National Journal that his "overall concept is to minimize the role of government and to maximize the role of private economy and to maximize personal freedoms." He has expressed concern for too much government regulation in the U.S., stating that "we could be facing the greatest loss of liberty and prosperity since the 1930s." In addition, he has warned that drastic government overspending and a decline of the free enterprise system will prove detrimental to long-term social and economic prosperity.

Koch disdains "big government" and the "political class." He believes billionaires Warren Buffett and George Soros, who fund organizations with different ideologies, "simply haven't been sufficiently exposed to the ideas of liberty." Koch thinks "prosperity is under attack" by the Obama administration and "warns of policies that threaten to erode our economic freedom and transfer vast sums of money to the state."
In an April 2011 Wall Street Journal op-ed, Koch wrote:
Government spending on business only aggravates the problem. Too many businesses have successfully lobbied for special favors and treatment by seeking mandates for their products, subsidies (in the form of cash payments from the government), and regulations and tariffs to keep more efficient competitors at bay. Crony capitalism is much easier than competing in an open market. But it erodes our overall standard of living and stifles entrepreneurs by rewarding the politically favored rather than those who provide what consumers want.
In an April 2014 Wall Street Journal op-ed, Koch wrote, "the fundamental concepts of dignity, respect, equality before the law and personal freedom are under attack by the nation's own government." He criticized the Obama Administration, saying that its "central belief and fatal conceit" is that people are not capable of running their own lives. "This is the essence of big government and collectivism," he wrote. He cited the "current health care debacle" as an example of disastrous government control. He complained that he had been the victim of "character assassination."

In July 2015 Charles Koch and his brother were praised by President Obama and Anthony Van Jones for their bipartisan efforts to reform the criminal justice system. For roughly a decade Koch has been advocating for several reforms within the prison system, including the reduction of recidivist criminals, easing the employment process for rehabilitated persons, and the defense of private property from Asset forfeiture. Aligning with groups such as the ACLU, the Center for American ProgressFamilies Against Mandatory Minimums, the Coalition for Public Safety, and the MacArthur Foundation, Koch believes the current system has unfairly targeted low-income and minority communities all while wasting substantial government resources.
In February 2016, Koch penned an opinion piece in The Washington Post, where he admitted he agreed with presidential candidate Bernie Sanders about the unfairness of corporate welfare and mass incarceration in the United States.

Until now, was under the impression he was hard core Neo-Conservative; although not all that fond of LIbertarians either.  More of a "bottoms-up-capitalism" kind of guy personally.

Anyway, thank you for bringing both Lenny Bruce and Institute for Justice to my attention.  Both were helpful.

Sincerely yours,

James E. Avery, D.V.M.
