WE HAVE A GALLERY FULL OF PEOPLE WHO VIEW THE SIGNAGE AS BEING DIRECTED TOWARDS THEM, AS BEING OF A HARASSING NEIGHBOR -- HARASSING NATURE.

WE HAVE FOUR LETTERS FROM PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY THAT I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE COURT CONSIDER WHEN IT PASSES ITS SENTENCE IN THIS CASE.

I WILL GIVE A RECOMMENDATION AND THEN THERE'S SOMEBODY FROM THE COMMUNITY WHO WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK ON BEHALF OF THE GROUP. I'D LIKE THE COURT TO HEAR FROM THEM.

And I'm not about to make the same mistake with you I'd made with our mother when tried keeping up the resemblance of a mother-son relationship all those years through  long-distance phone conversations every two weeks like clockwork as I drifted from place to place  trying to find one where I felt I'd somewhat belonged or at least not having to hide who I was; even if that meant settling down in a community where you are surrounded by people who simply do not care who you are as long as you paid them the same respect.

"My name is James Avery.  I'm a veterinarian who lives in this house.  Not only am I gay,  I'm Atheist as well."
~(Simply Jim)~

"Oh we're not that kind of Christian!"
~(Janet?Bob)~

And it seemed to be working out just fine, at least up until that day a lying cheating whore, Janet Claire Segers Gary, got off her short leash and crossed over to my side of the street first, in the process unknowingly to the both of us at the time, introducing herself to me and her husband ...BOB.  Oh excuse me!   REV? DR? GEORGE ROBERT GARY, SR. MDiv, ThD!

Hence the signs Hosea Joke of Mason Mill Road and The Re contextualization of King Solomon (instead of a little baby...think a grown man being split between to old useless CUNT!)

"You are not a good man, Bob.  King Solomon version."
~(Simply Jim)~

You should have seen how Bob flinched the day he loops around the driveway of his former home directly across the street from mine as I was doing my daily afternoon routine acting up on sidewalk my front yard...with his driver's side window down.  If there is one thing Bob had been kind enough doing for me these past seven years, it would have to be having that window rolled down so I would not have to shout.

So please make the effort and try understanding why I'm preferring all communications with you big sister be through emails.

If you care reading the rest of our email exchanges, you can start here:

Sincerely yours,

Simply Jim

P.S.

Don't get me wrong big sister.  You are doing wrong no worse than any other.

In an attempt pointing out to you one small simple act of mine none of you ever seem to be able catching or valuing as relevant:

From:  Donna Devine

Hopefully Ingrid will call soon.

She's a working girl.  Be patient now.
November 2, 2017  11:52 am

And just that very same morning before the two of us texting about my probation revocation hearing that morning having been continued, I had made known to my Public Defender Ingrid McGaughey my suspicion as to a possible reason I'm thinking behind why a public defender Whitney Gibbs (wife and mother of two) was having to be abruptly rotated in from another district substituting for the court ordered public defender first assigned to me, Marian Maloney (single), when seeing no reason why public defender Lauren Stadalius (single) who was acting as an intermediary until this rotation completed couldn't have just taken over the case instead.  And now as public defender Whitney Gibbs replacement (SINCE  THIS "THE TRIAL!"), public defender Ingrid McGaughey...another mother.  My suspicion that Emory (however discreet) knows exactly what they are doing.    Yet I came to my public defender's Ingrid McGaughey defense...still...that very same day while texting with my big sister.

And it didn't help these suspicions any that both these single female public defenders having formerly had as their coach, when law students with Emory University's Mock Trail Society, our Honorary Judge Matthew McCoyd presiding over these hearings determining my fate.

Donna, here's yet another suggestion as to a way you might be able helping me.  See if you can find out what has happened to any of our maid, L.B., children? If any are still around Prescott?  Letting them know, especially Ben, that I would like hearing from them, an opportunity sharing some of my childhood memories with them?  Please let them have my email address.

Hello Bob,

Glad to hear from you.

I know this may be putting you on the spot, but after eleven or twelve unannounced visits to my home by DeKalb Regional Crisis Center, really do believe I have a right knowing what is being kept on file with DeKalb County regarding defendant, residing at 1840 Mason Mill Road, mental health/drug addiction?  It would help me a lot knowing what it is you are seeing/hearing, not seeing/hearing, as a result of all these trips?

Considering the reason I was told for these visits, at least in the beginnings, being a concern that I may pose a danger to others and/or myself;  there is just no good excuse for DeKalb County not having a fairly detailed report  on file regarding defendant, residing at 1840 Mason Mill Road, mental health/illness by now.  I've been totally upfront about my drug addiction from the very start having been the one, attempted, performing his own drug addiction intervention by telling everyone starting with the only friendly neighbor he thought he had at the time; a Janet Claire Segers Gary once living in the house directly across the street from his with a George Robert Gary, Sr. MDiv, ThD.

SANDRA MULLINS  (CCCG)
We are concerned with the message on the signs and pictures used on the signs of our staff with threatening comments.

***

MARYBETH HAYES  (CCCG)
It is offensive to drive down the street, he at times seems to threaten cars and yells when you try to walk by. It is a shame that we cannot walk sown the street.
I actually looked at buying a house on this street and did not because of him.

***

M. AYERS GARDNER  (Retired Magistrate Judge)
The aesthetic appearance and racist, homophobic designs and messages, and traffic disruption are horrible. The whole mess presented by this yard is detrimental to my property values.

***

ELIZABETH LUNZ
As a retired pastor, I am familiar with the tragedy of people afflicted with behavior like Jim Ed Avery's, but have never experienced before such prolonged neglect of his mental illness, his safety, and that of an entire neighborhood. Intervention has been needed and legally appropriate for years. His aggressive and threatening stance is a clear harbinger of violence, with signs of actual domestic terrorism. May God deliver him and us from such an outcome, with the hoped for aid of Delalb County.

***

BILL GARY

I grew up in the house across the street. My parents moved from the house in part because they were tired of dealing with Mr. Ed's signs, blow-up decorations, and his harassing nature both on a personal level as well as with my parents' prior employer and with their church. My parents and others have had to seek restraining orders to keep Mr. Ed from harassing them with his vulgar language and threatening comments. Unfortunately, this has not really slowed Mr. Ed down. I helped my parents rent the property after they moved. The property was impossible to rent to families. One family admitted they were concerned with Mr. Ed and his front yard antics (especially some of the vulgar language on some of the signs). We ended up renting to a company from out of state that needed a place in the area for its subcontractors to live temporarily. These guys were experienced gun owners and thus were not scared by Mr. Ed thankfully. Mr. Ed also distracts drivers with signs, waiving flags, costumes, and this is quite distracting to drivers and pedestrians rounding this known dangerous curve in the neighborhood.Mr. Ed has admitted in emails and postings on the internet to having used or presently using illegal drugs. His actions and behavior are, to be blunt, nothing less than scary. In this day and age where we see unstable people turning violent, his ongoing presence in the neighborhood I grew up in is quite concerning and needs to be aggressively fought by the county and/or state authorities.

***

BERT GARY  (Pastor Owl Rock UMC)
My family owns 1841 Mason Mill Rd. directly across the street from 1840. The owner of 1840 has harassed my family personally and online for years without provocation. My parents moved out as a result. We may never be able to sell property with the psychotic, drug-induced behaviors and outrageous, profane displays in the front yard of 1840. Be advised that he is a relentless, sadistic provocateur who enjoys notoriety and confrontation. Thank you for your prompt action.

***

MICHAEL GARY
I lived across from this address growing up, and witnessed and/or heard many frightening accidents on that dangerous curve over the years. The addition of bizarre and inappropriate signs and displays, and often obscene behavior, right at that dangerous curve, tips the scales significantly.

***

SUSAN LANDRY  (Senior Pastor Mt. Zion UMC)
The signage is heightened significantly at afternoon traffic times, and then reduced again. It is a very dangerous situation--we have seen people nearly run off the road as the orange flags were being waved.

***

LOUIS LANDRY
I own the property directly across. I have witnessed several unsafe conditions caused by this individual including locked braking and alarmed drivers due to brilliant colored flags being waved near traffic flow. I have witness very inappropriate language on signs. I have witness person sitting naked in lawn chair in driveway. I have had the person verbally harass me and person I have hired to perform work at my home. These behaviors are lowering property appeal and thus value in the local area.

***

WILLIAM GARY
My grandparents live across the street from the house in question. They have faced years of harassment and they were in essence force from the home they lived in for over 60 years. I, and every other member of our family, simply want my grandparents to live their golden years in peace.

***

ANDIE ASHE
His signs are a nuisance and some of them are offensive. He clearly needs help.

***

Margaret Shawcross
My friend Andie's grandparents own the house directly across the street and it is impossible for them to rent it out due to Jim Ed. Moreover, Ed's signage is threatening and offensive.

***

TOMMY SEGERS
My family owns a house across the street.

***

HARRIET HOLLOWAY
In addition to the facts in Mr. Rasulnia's letter, at times the resident wears masks while he is flag dancing and yelling at cars. At times he has some sort of toy gun that shoots bubbles at the cars on Mason Mill, and is otherwise disturbing. An obvious change has taken place in this person. Up until about 10 years ago, he used to have appropriate, tasteful holiday decorations in his yard for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. But something made him take a change for the worse. I do my best to ignore him but, it just needs to stop.

***

CHARLES BLISS  (Useless Green Acre Faggot/The Other Half of Iranian Uranium Enrichment Concubine Having Started This Petition)
This guy is a community nuisance, offensive, in violation, and direct defiance to county code ordinances. County code allows 24 sq ft ground signage 10 feet back from sidewalk. This resident has 120 sq ft ground signage, 5 times the allowable amount. Not to mention the seasonal inflatables, flag dancing, and yelling at cars. I want DeKalb county to uphold county codes to limit his infringement on my persuit of happiness.

***

ROBERT SHERRILL
I am tired of seeing this person break the law for no reason.

***

If not a report on file I'm able inspecting as well as receiving a copy, could I at least get you ,Bob, repeating back to me what you've heard me explaining about my crystal meths addiction; what I'm believing has to happen first before any kind of intervention by others will make a difference?

Sincerely yours,

James E. Avery, D.V.M.

Dear Jim-

If you prefer I can call first. I do not know your phone number. You are under no obligation to see me.  I am hoping you will seek some professional help. DeKalb county offers addiction and mental health services to uninsured county residences.  The central access number for services is 404-892-4646. My office number is 404-294-0499. My extension is 2689 or ask to be forwarded to the mobile phone.

Sincerely,

Robert Duckworth/RN  (Bob)

Hello Bob,

I certainly do not mind your visits.  As far as the comment made during your last visit about me being offended by Mobile Crisis Unit always being escorted by an officer during these trips out to my home; honestly, actually don't mind their presence either.  The more brains for me to pick the merrier!  A courtesy call ahead of the visits would also be greatly appreciated.  Even a text message will works.

However, at this point,  I rather know more about what kind of information(s)/record(s) have resulted from all these visits out to my home by DeKalb County Mobile Crisis Unit before I'm willing even considering  committing any more of my time to any of their other services offered.

"BUT YOU ARE NOT ELECTABLE!"

"If I have already seen the best you have to offer, then I see no point in you continuing to waste our time with these visits."

I"ve already told you about my conversation with Lana Chase whom Vicki brought along on MCU third visit. Surely you are able understanding my hesitations?

Sincerely yours,

Dear Jim,

In answer to your question. After a visit, I type up a summary of the visit from my point of view. I submit this summary to be scanned for inclusion in your clinical chart. I try to address the questions: Is he in distress; Does he have any plan to harm himself or others; Have I made any progress with my argument that he may benefit from professional help for addiction and any associated mental/physical health issues? I also try to capture your presentation. A record might be useful if you decide to meet with a clinician and that clinician is thorough enough to read what I’ve written. It has been my experience that very few clinicians bother to read nurses notes.

On our next visit, if you have any interest in my motivations, you might ask me.

As an aside, you’ve said that all you want is a  “Methodist tribunal”. I did a little research and learned that the UMC settles dispute with a 9 member ecclesiastical court. I could not find any reference to “tribunal”.

Sincerely,
Robert Duckworth

Dr Jim,

As with the Lenny Bruce link, this is not work related.

If you are not familiar, you might be interested in IJ.org
They take on cases like…
Although I have not seen any indication that they are working on her particular problem.

Hello Bob,

I've received two emails from you since my last email addressed to you.   Within this email, I will address the first one.

"After a visit, I type up a summary of the visit from my point of view. I submit this summary to be scanned for inclusion in your clinical chart. I try to address the questions: Is he in distress; Does he have any plan to harm himself or others; Have I made any progress with my argument that he may benefit from professional help for addiction and any associated mental/physical health issues? I also try to capture your presentation."

In my earlier attempts trying to get copies of these reports, I was told by someone staffing medical records (building located across the street from DeKalb Crisis Center) that these reports were not considered legit medical records; therefore they was not allowed releasing these reports to me?  So...why is it being made so difficult for me receiving copies of these reports relating to all these visits by DeKalb County Mobile Crisis Unit to my home?  Sounds exactly like the type of information I'm thinking should be included in someones medical records (clinical chart); especially if that person suspected of possibly being a danger to himself and/or others in the community!!!

"A record might be useful if you decide to meet with a clinician and that clinician is thorough enough to read what I’ve written. It has been my experience that very few clinicians bother to read nurses notes."

This makes no sense at all!  If very few clinicians bother to read nurses notes, why do we have nurses then?  An even better question, why am I wasting my time talking to you?  Sounds to me as if, should you ever advise that I be committed involuntarily,  I"m going to have start all over again!  ONLY THIS TIME HAVING EVEN MORE HISTORY NEEDING TO COVER!  It's... NOT ...that I'm a poor historian;  just that no one's caring enough hearing it!

"On our next visit, if you have any interest in my motivations, you might ask me."

Interesting that you should say this..?

My mother was a nurse. And the one thing they drove home during her nurse's training  at Charity Hospital New Orleans, "If you don't know what you are doing, GO GET THE DOCTOR!"

What are your motivations?

"As an aside, you’ve said that all you want is a  “Methodist tribunal”. I did a little research and learned that the UMC settles dispute with a 9 member ecclesiastical court. I could not find any reference to “tribunal”."

Okay!  So maybe tribunal not quite the right word to use? Something more along the lines of "non-criminal justice fact finding mission"...maybe?

"Is faith a gift I have yet to receive; or faith a gift I refuse to accept?  What does God's silence in the penultimacy mean and do for you would do the same for me should I choose allowing a God doing so?"

But the Methodist Church definitely needs to be involved!

Sincerely yours,

James E. Avery, D.V.M.

Dear Jim-

I hope you are enjoying the warm winter weather.

I expect my reports to be included in your chart. Someone at the “central access” number 404-892-4646 should be able to tell you how to obtain a copy of your records.

You’ve repeatedly question my motivation in seeing you (same as for nursing). I’ll be happy to discuss this in person. I am available either afternoon this weekend. Let me know if you’d like me to visit.

Sincerely,

Bob
