A warranty deed is a type of deed where the grantor (seller) guarantees that he or she holds clear title to a piece of real estate and has a right to sell it to the grantee (buyer). This is in contrast to a quitclaim deed, where the seller does not guarantee that he or she holds title to a piece of real estate. A general warranty deed protects the grantee against title defects arising at any point in time, extending back to the property's origins. A special warranty deed protects the grantee only against title defects arising from the actions or omissions of the grantor.

Because of this lack of warranty, quitclaim deeds are most often used to transfer property between family members, as gifts, placing personal property into a business entity (and vice versa) or in other special or unique circumstances. Quitclaim deeds are rarely used to transfer property from seller to buyer in a traditional property sale; in most cases, the grantor and grantee have an existing relationship, or the grantor and grantee are the same person.

The Emory Police Department has jurisdiction both on and off Emory property and works in conjunction with the Dekalb County Police Department, the Atlanta Police Department, and other law enforcement agencies, to provide law enforcement services to the greater Emory community.

Emory Threat Assessment Team: 

The goal of the Threat Assessment Team is to preserve the safety and security of the university community. The team receives, assesses, and responds to information on perceived threats to the safety and security of university students, staff members, visitors, and property. Our philosophy is to identify concerns in their early phases and to work collaboratively with all parties before problems escalate. We encourage all members of the university community to be willing to seek help for themselves or others when there are safety concerns.

In any situation where a person may pose an immediate risk of harm to self or others, please call 911.

Warning Signs

Making the decision to report a potential threat can be difficult. At the same time, we all have a shared responsibility to identify and report concerning behavior. What we see may be one piece of a much larger pattern of behavior. By reporting what you know, you help inform decision-making. We’d much rather hear about concerns, evaluate them, and offer support services than not hear about an individual or situation until a crisis.

What should concern you? There is no comprehensive list. Warning signs can manifest themselves in many forms: one-on-one settings, group interaction, public behavior, letters, emails, blogs, websites, social networking sites, photos, phone calls, or text messages are just some examples.

Tried getting copies of my report once before; becoming aware Emory Police having been involved only after reading them listed on the Restraining Orders served to me on behalf of Bob and Janet Gary, my neighbors at the time living directly across the street from me. 

Was told they had no records listed under my name...?

Will try again.

And make sure they are aware I'm keeping up with as much evidences as I can on my blog as well;

having already learned my lesson the hard way!!!

Taking nothing for granted anymore.

Which makes sense.

If they can preach without believing in God and their congregation never realizing this,

sometimes even by their own spouse;

where is the lying to stop?

It doesn't help that this lying is done with the consent of many within the congregation.
