NARRATIVE
 On this date at 1500 hours, I spoke to the complainant REDACTED (receiptionist at Pres. office) in reference to this incident. COMPLAINANT told me told me that on the listed date and time a male subject named James Avery came to see President Wagner without an appointment. COMPLAINANT told him that President Wagner was in a meeting and he could be seen by appointment only. Avery told COMPLAINANT that he had a package that he needed to drop off to President Wagner. Avery also stated that President Wagner was to help him with a personal problem and he was upset that he did not receive any calls for assistance from the president.

COMPLAINANT instructed Avery to leave the package with her and she would give it to President Wagner. COMPLAINANT told me that Avery left the package and he left the area without incident. COMPLAINANT told me that she gave the package to WITNESS. COMPLAINANT told me that at no time she felt threatened by Avery and that he did not seem agitated. COMPLAINANT described Avery as the following: white male, 30 years of age, blonde shoulder length hair, and wearing a Polo shirt and khaki pants.

While I was interviewing COMPLAINANT, WITNESS gave me the original package that Avery left. I turned the package over to Sgt. Manns for investigation.

NARRATIVE 
On 5/17/2011 at 1335 hours, I met with COMPLAINANT in reference to a stalking report. COMPLAINANT said that on 5/16/11 at 1610 hours he was asked by WITNESS, Business Manager for the President's Office, to speak to a male subject who wanted to see President Jim Wagner. Sencer said that the male subject, later identified as James Avery, told him that he wanted to see President Wagner. COMPLAINANT said he asked Avery, "What do you want from Jim Wagner?" COMPLAINANT said the subject started rambling that the president had not responded to the earlier package he left. See case number 1102003

COMPLAINANT said at that time he advised Avery that he was not going to be able to see President Wagner. COMPLAINANT said Avery gave him an envelope to give to President Wagner. He escorted Avery down the stairs and out of the building. COMPLAINANT said that he did not feel threatened by Avery, but did say Avery appeared to be confused.

Detective Meeks retrieved the paperwork that Avery left with COMPLAINANT for investigation.

NARRATIVE 
COMPLAINANT reported that James Avery entered her office on the third floor of the Church School Building on 08.08.2011 at approximately 1430 hours and remained on the premises for about an hour. She said he came again to her office at approximately 1000 hours on 08.09.2011. On both of these occasions, she said, Avery wanted to talk to a minister about helping him talk with his neighbors on Mason Mill Rd., the Garys, who are parishioners at Glenn Memorial Church and who have barred Avery from their property. COMPLAINANT said she found his sudden appearances in her office to be frightening, and because of his incoherent presentation and speech impediment she found Avery difficult to communicate with. She told me that one of the church's younger ministers, WITNESS, spoke with Avery on 08.08.2011 and eventually followed Avery to his parking place in the Fishburne Deck. She said today Avery left the N. Decatur Rd. entrance to the Church School Building and turned right, suggesting that he may have parked in the driveway between the church and the Church School Building. I checked the deck, the streets surrounding the church, and the vicinity of the Administration Building, but did not locate Avery or his white Jeep Wrangler.

COMPLAINANT had been told that Avery had a trespass warning encompassing all Emory property. I verified (and explained to her) that at present Avery has only been warned not to return to the Administration Building or to the Lullwater Estate. I urged her to contact this agency immediately if he should return in the future. I briefed Det. Meeks about this incident.

NARRATIVE
On 10/7/14 at approximately 1515 hours, I spoke with the complainant by phone in reference to suspicious activity. COMPLAINANT informed me that subject James Avery has been showing up at the Glenn Church requesting a meeting with the staff pastors.

COMPLAINANT stated that Mr. Avery showed up at Glenn Church on 9/24/14 and spoke with WITNESS 1 to request a meeting with the staff pastors. COMPLAINANT said that Mr. Avery showed up a second time on 10/6/14 at approximately 1530 hours and spoke with her requesting to meet with staff pastors. COMPLAINANT informed me that Mr. Avery was not confrontational during either incident. COMPLAINANT told me that during both incidents, Mr. Avery showed them emails that he has sent to WITNESS 2 and WITNESS 3 requesting a meeting with them.

COMPLAINANT said that Mr. Avery has been requesting meetings with WITNESS 3 and WITNESS 2 because he wants to discuss “religion” with them. COMPLAINANT stated that Mr. Avery told her that he is an atheist and that he has questions for WITNESS 3 and WITNESS 2. COMPLAINANT informed me that Mr. Avery also told her that he was a previous meth addict and that he wanted to talk to the pastors about meth usage.

COMPLAINANT advised me that she was reporting these incidents to EPD because she was aware that Mr. Avery was involved in previous incidents that were connected to President Wagner. I advised COMPLAINANT to contact EPD if she or any staff members observe Mr. Avery at the Glenn Church on a later date.

I provided COMPLAINANT with the case number for this report.

NARRATIVE 
On Friday, June 3, 2016 at 1614 hours, an anonymous caller told me that James Avery telephoned the Glenn Memorial Church to inform them that he would be attending service on Sunday, June 5, 2016. The caller said Avery introduced himself as the man with the mental health problem on Houston Mill Road. The caller said the service starts at 0930 hours and Avery was known to be disruptive during church services. The caller stated Avery asked for a chaperone to meet with him before the service.

The caller told me that the church would like to request patrols on Sunday morning. I advised the caller that I would tell my supervisor about their request. I disconnected the line and informed Sergeant Randall of the church's request.

NARRATIVE
On Monday, November 27, 2017 at approximately 1313 hours I met with COMPLAINANT, the pastor of the Glenn Memorial Church, in reference to feeling threatened by James Avery. I met with COMPLAINANT in her office, where she advised me that she is feeling unsafe and threatened by the attendance of James Avery at her services.

COMPLAINANT stated that beginning in August of last year she allowed Mr. Avery to attend services. She stated that she was aware of Mr. Avery’s consistently atypical behavior, and always had other parishioners with him to make sure he did not create a problem. COMPLAINANT stated that recently he has been emailing both her and other church members often, and becomes angered when he does not receive an answer, or does not receive the answer he desires. COMPLAINANT provided me with a couple of emails which I scanned and submitted with this report.

COMPLAINANT also informed me that WITNESS at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church criminally trespassed James Avery from that church for concerning behavior. I contacted WITNESS via email and she summarized her church’s dealings with Avery. I scanned and submitted my conversation with WITNESS, as well as a copy of the criminal trespass warning they issued to Avery.

COMPLAINANT informed me that last night, November 26, 2017, she was holding a five o’clock service at Glenn Church. She stated that Mr. Avery stood in the middle of the aisle near the rear of the church filming her as she delivered her sermon.

COMPLAINANT also stated that Mr. Avery has recently come to believe that COMPLAINANT and the church are responsible for the county ordinance violations he received for the signage in his yard on Mason Mill Rd. COMPLAINANT stated that she is aware that Mr. Avery uses methamphetamine, due to his own admission. COMPLAINANT also stated that he cornered a youth in church the other morning while speaking to the juvenile. COMPLAINANT stated that the youth informed her that Mr. Avery did not say anything inappropriate, but COMPLAINANT no longer feels comfortable having Mr. Avery at the church around youth.

COMPLAINANT made it clear that she feels that her safety is threated by his being on the property.

COMPLAINANT stated that she had someone walk her to her car after last night’s service because she believed Mr. Avery would have followed her to her vehicle.

Sgt. Randall was also present for the meeting, and informed COMPLAINANT that we would show a greater police presence at any time she requested. I provided COMPLAINANT with a card and case number

Supplement Narrative 
I spoke with the complainant on 11/28/2017 at 1610 hours. She advised she was concerned with the recent behavior of James Avery when he is attending church at Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church. She had detailed her concerns in this report to Ofc. Massee on 11/27/2017.

She advised Ofc. Massee that another Metro Atlanta Methodist Church, St. Mark, has issued a criminal trespass warning to Avery in the past. COMPLAINANT and I discussed the possibility of a criminal trespass warning prohibiting Avery from attending services at Glenn Memorial. I asked that she send me an email detailing her concerns and expressing her wishes to pursue a criminal trespass warning.

 I received that email on 11/29/2017 at 0950 hours. I discussed the email and COMPLAINANT'S request with Capt. B. Buchtinec and he advised me to meet with Avery and issue an Emory-wide criminal trespass warning. On 11/29/2017 at 1444 hours, Lt. J.Schmahl and I met with James Edward Avery at his home at 1840 Mason Mill Rd., Decatur, GA. Avery was presented with a written criminal trespass warning for all Emory properties. Avery acknowledged receipt of and signed the warning. He was given a copy of the document. The interaction with Avery was documented via mine and Lt. Schmahl's body cameras. Avery also video recorded the contact with him.

 A copy of the criminal trespass warning was uploaded into the other media folder and the original was placed in the criminal trespass warning files in the communications division.

As these were the last words anyone heard me spoke while standing on the hallow grounds of St. Mark UMC, except when met by two officers the following Sunday morning handing me a signed letter from Rev? Dr? Beth on behalf of the Board of Trustee, informing me, of criminal trespassing; I really do believe I have a genuine rights asking, as well as expecting to receive, without need of yet another useless God Damn prayer, permission attending this last in a series of five distinct perspectives from five different pastors...

ABOUT LOVE!

Today on July 20th, 2015,

 I had two extra special 

VISITORS

to my home for a change..?

HOMELAND SECURITY!  

Inspector (?) McCormick was the one who did all the talking; the other one, a male, just observed from a close distance.  I found them both to be respectful;  just doing their jobs.

And I am actually thankful for their visit as it provided me with important information extremely helpful in narrowing down all the possible conjectures able coming up with regarding a letter handed to me Sunday morning of July 5th by two uniformed police officers acting as security guards at St. Mark United Methodist Church informing me of criminal trespassing on private property from that point forward.

I was already fairly certain that the reason given was going to be a comment I made to the black female security guard about me going home and coming back with a toy gun, water pistol actually, teaching these sheltered Faggots a lesson.

Does this automatically rule out the other conjectures also believing possible explanations for me being barred from coming onto the grounds of St. Mark United Methodist Church..?

Absolutely not!!!

My intuition is still telling this is all about St. Mark's Minister of Social Justice Rev. Joshua Noblitt having more sway with the Board of Trustees of St. Mark UMC than Rev. Dr. Beth LaRocca-Pitts.

"And I...DOOOOOO...TOOOO...LOVEEE.... my...CONGREGATION!"

Rev. Dr. Beth said this to me over the telephone way back in the beginning when all this started;  just before hanging up on me without allowing me any chance explaining how it was that I"m needing help kicking this crystal meths addiction.

Well I'm certain of it that they, Congregation St. Mark UMC roughly eighty percent  homosexual males, "DOOOO....TOOOO....LOOOOVE....HERRRRRRR;  until she's done serving their purpose!  That just how....GAAAAAAY...men...DOOOOO!"

No one in that church knows me as well as Rev. Dr. Beth!  Most certainly have not held back with my choice of words the few times I've managed getting some alone time with her away from the others.

"Beth.  

Do you realize, 

the more 

you make in income as a Methodist Administer, 

the less 

anything of everything you do counts toward moral behavior;  

it's what you are getting paid for...being their human Sunday!"

She knows what I was trying to do.  

Although she may want to try and believe she doesn't, she knows my political motivation;
always keeping on the move.

And...

I don't think she's been sharing any of these conversations with them..?

Then again, maybe she has.  She...DID...allow me to sitting in on her Wednesday afternoon Bible Study 101 Classes.  And one Wednesday evening in response to something  overhearing me saying to Carl, having joined a few of the participants of her class for their Wednesday night catered dinner afterwards, Woody came to Beth's defense claiming Beth had told them, "I was well read".  Had they been complaining about me (Beth coming to my defense) I'm now wondering...?

Yeah...

Beth is definitely distancing herself from the others when having me handed this letter informing me of criminal trespassing.

Can't help but be amused by this letter handed to me by two black uniformed officers the Sunday morning of July 5th when showing up for the Interactions Class.

St Mark UMC | Interactions Class

The Interactions Class at St. Mark is composed of individuals, both coupled and single, of varying ages, who explore life’s interactions and their consequences. Personal and interpersonal interconnections with partners, family, friends, the church, the community, and the world-at-large are discussed from a Christian perspective in this class that welcomes all.

The Interactions Class was originally called the Couples Class since it was a class designed for both gay and straight couples to share their experiences and to grow in their relationships.  The Couples Class began in 1998 with John and Jeri Hannula as class leaders.   The Couples Class and the Sunday Breakfast Class merged in early 2011 to form the current Interactions Class. The class also enjoys occasional social activities and retreats.  Bill Whittaker and Matthew Malok are the current class leaders.

Join us this coming Sunday, June 14 when Bobby Strickland will be presenting “Naked and Unashamed” at 10:10 am in room 206.

Spoke quite a good while with a Alice after this class.  Found out she and her husband, also there with her but nowhere around as the two of us talked, were the parents of a son who is gay;  formerly Baptist..?

Told her a little bit about my relationship with my family in Arkansas.  Alice even laughed slightly when  commenting, how, my mother would rather give a grown man up for adoption than accept she raised a gay son.  At one point Alice tells me, even after having explained how I justified my Atheism, that I was "a child of God."  

Here's the part where our conversation turned South:  

Upon hearing Alice telling me that she knows she's going to heaven:

"If you believe in Heaven, this also means there is the possibility of a hell..?"

Unfortunately, we didn't discuss this topic beyond this point.

Then I spoke my opinion about I.S.I.S. halfway around the world; how I felt that we here in the United States where somewhat responsible for all those caught in between us and the atrocities committed by I.S.I.S.

"You analyze things too much," 

I believe were the last words we spoke.

Paresh Sheth on June 21

Join us on Father’s Day, June 21, in room 206 at 10:10 am when Paresh Sheth will present “East Meets West.”

Upon learning that this morning's presentation was going to be about, having arrived early for a change, I sought out Paresh and showed him a printed version of one of the many signs I've made to display in the front yard of my home located within the shadows of near-by secular Methodist Emory University; a liberal arts and science campus on which Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church is located. 

Again, I explained how I thought our actions here in the United States were somewhat responsible for the atrocities committed by I.S.I.S. against ethnic minorities and even differing political views;  even if worlds apart.  Without saying anything, he seemed to agree.  It was hard to tell.  And after listening to his presentation, the part about his relationship with his father and his relationship with his wife I found especially interesting, I'm not sure he believes in a god either.  It was hard to tell. 

Afterward I went up to Alice Husband and asked why she wasn't with him this morning.  When hearing she wasn't feeling well that morning;  "I hope I haven't upset her in any way; I did give her an earful?"  

"She had nothing but good things to say about you," 

I was relieved hearing.  

Then I asked him to tell her I said hello. 

I was now troubled by the realization that two Sunday classes had pass without even any mention/discussion of a tragedy having happened recently.  So, wanting to talk about the nine African-American Methodists just recently killed in Charleston, South Carolina, I walked up to the white one of this pair of considered to be the class leaders, Matthew Malok:

"No one likes discussing the topics I'm wanting to talk about, 

so, 

I apologize up front.  

Do you realize what a fucking joke this massacre made of that 

'NO GUNS ALLOWED' 

sign recently put up out in front of this church..?"

 It was immediately obvious that he was not at all pleased to hear this.  Matthew then makes the excuse that he urgently was needing to talk to a couple of other people and begins walking away.  No offer of discussing my concerns, later, pretty much told me no need bothering with this one anymore.

Now this one, did, talks about the Confederate fag... some.   FLAG!  I meant to say;  he...DID...talk about the Confederate...FLAG...some..?  

And he did  mention a trip to Selma, Alabama..? 

The Saint Mark Social Justice Ministry is proud to offer a day trip to Selma, Alabama, to participate in the reenactment of the march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge that led to the watershed moment in the Civil Rights Movement known as “Bloody Sunday”. This story was depicted in the Academy Award nominated film Selma which was recently released.

When: Sunday, March 8, 2015
Time: Load bus and depart at 9am  ( remember we spring forward the night before )
Cost: $25 per person (covers cost of transport on charter bus – lunch is on your own)

We will arrive in Selma around 11:30am, have an opportunity to see the Voter Rights Museum and get lunch, then participate in the pre-march rally at 1:30, join in the reenactment march across the bridge at 2:30, and attend the post-march rally on the other side of the bridge at 3:30. We will load the bus to return to Atlanta at approximately 5pm. We should arrive back at Saint Mark by 9pm… we will not be stopping for dinner so you may want to pack something to eat for the the return home.

As I'm leaving on my way out the back entrance, I said this to the black female officer, I guessing, hired as extra security because of the recent SCROTUS ruling regarding same-sex marriage.  Then I describe to her a cool toy gun that I own, a water pistol actually;  the desire wanting to go home and coming back with it teaching these sheltered "Faggots" a lesson.

Then I stuck around long enough discussing with this black female officer...Malcolm X... and the importance of his presence near-by within the shadows of Martin Luther King to the success of MLK's I Have a Dream speech.  Even asking her, what do you think might have  happened if civil legislation had not passed immediately following that soaring speech given by Martin Luther King..?

Baldwin's essays never stopped articulating the anger and frustration felt by real-life black Americans with more clarity and style than any other writer of his generation. Baldwin's next book-length essay, No Name in the Street, also discussed his own experience in the context of the later 1960s, specifically the assassinations of three of his personal friends: Medgar Evers, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King, Jr.

While he wrote about the movement, Baldwin aligned himself with the ideals of the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) and the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC). In 1963 he conducted a lecture tour of the South for CORE, traveling to locations like Durham and Greensboro, North Carolina and New Orleans, Louisiana.
