Today's citation makes for a total of fourteen citations.
As I stood at the mailbox waiting on Officer Armstrong writing me up for this one citation, which by the way was nice of him as he could have written me up for more, so amusing how my NEXTDOOR.COM neighbor Ronald Mihelic was grinning from ear to ear as he drove by us in his big red apple.
Knew he was going to be grinning from ear to ear before actually
able seeing him grinning from ear to ear.
Before the Code Enforcer showing up, saw Ronald at the bottom of the hill looking up my way as if he was expecting something to happen?
The thought did cross my mind taking that fifth sign down.
But then again,
I kinda enjoy having...
THE
EXCUSE
FOR A "BIPOLAR" MOMENT.

Hello Ms. Gibbs,
Just a quick email letting you know that I've received another citation this afternoon for having one too many signs. This now brings me to a total of fifteen citations
Also this citations has me down for a court hearing October 4th, 2016.
I'm including the following link to Sherry Boston's DeKalb County Solicitor-General website:
On this web page, you will find the following paragraph:
"Citizens who have been impacted by crime in their neighborhoods also get a chance to be heard through Solicitor-General Sherry Boston’s Court Watch Program. Members of Court Watch can speak in court during the sentencing phase so that the judge is aware of the impact repeat offenses are having on the community. In 2014, testimony of Court Watch members led to one repeat offender getting permanently banned from returning to DeKalb County. Learn more about that case here: Repeat Offender Banned from DeKalb County. Find out more information about the Court Watch program here."
If you click on the link, "Repeat Offender Banned from DeKalb County," this will take you the the article about Charles Butts; the criminal case I mentioned to you as having made us all look bad.
As a citizen of DeKalb County, criminal or not, I'm not thrilled about being party to this outcome; an accessory to crimes of indifference you could say.
Oh well. Enough ranting for now.
Sincerely yours,
James E. Avery, D.V.M.

Hello Ms. Gibbs,
During our phone conversation, I had mentioned to you that sometimes...EVEN I HAVE TROUBLE UNDERSTANDING MYSELF...during playback of recordings of me talking.
What follows is the link to a blog article where I've uploaded the recordings of my interaction(s)?reaction(s) to Code Enforcement Officer Armstrong visit/citation to my property this past Saturday.

I have no idea why the first two videos uploaded with closed captions, nor why the other two didn't, but they are...A MUST READ...as you listen to me babble.
Personally, I find them hilarious.
Sincerely yours,
James E. Avery, D.V.M.
