Update on Sept 13 Court Hearing
SEP 12, 2016 — Good Evening Petition Supporters,
We’ve been informed that Magistrate Judge McCoyd will be ordering a competency evaluation on Mr. Avery. As a result, next Tuesday’s court hearing (9/13) will be reset to a future date.
Currently, we do not have any additional information regarding a new court date. As soon as we do, we’ll let you know.
DeKalb County Code Enforcement Office has issued 8 additional citations to the original 5. They will continue to monitor the property on a regular basis for continued and additional violations. A component of the continued dialogue with the County is that we remain visible, vigilant, vocal, and documented regarding the issues at the property.
