I just signed the petition "Dekalb county: DeKalb County: Enforce Code of Ordinances at 1840 Mason Mill Road." and wanted to see if you could help by adding your name.
Our (My) goal is to reach 500 signatures (actually more like 7 billion) and we (so do I) need more (lots more) support. You can read more (please do) and sign ( I did) the petition here:
https://www.change.org/p/dekalb-county-dekalb-county-enforce-code-of-ordinances-at-1840-mason-mill-road?recruiter=544165202&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=share_email_responsive
Thanks!

Carol,
This is James Avery, resident of 1840 Mason Mill Road just down the road from Care and Counseling Center of Georgia.
A while back, we spoke over the telephone; you returning a message I had left for you earlier that same day.
Would you be kind enough to return an email reiterating what we discussed during this phone call? As much details as you can remember would be greatly appreciated. As it was a short phone call, shouldn't be to much.
I'm having problem with the 12 steps programs for the same reason Care and Counseling Center of Georgia most likely would not work out.
This email, if including our conversation the way I remember it, would help some, hopefully, explaining my plight with our people of faith; this ecumenical spirit.
Sincerely yours,
James E. Avery, DVM
p.s. Penny for you thoughts regarding my latest "expressive art therapy"?

Would you be kind enough to return an email reiterating what we discussed during this phone call? As much details as you can remember would be greatly appreciated. As it was a short phone call, shouldn't be to much trouble.
I'm having problems with the 12 steps programs for the same reason Care and Counseling Center of Georgia most likely would not work out as well.
This email, if including our conversation the way I remember it, would help some, hopefully, explaining my plight with our people of faith; this ecumenical spirit.
I've done research on the 12 steps program and have since found out that their emphasis on faith in a higher power, first, limits the universal availability of the 12 steps program of helping others. Also discovered, once you delete the high failure rate from the statistics, the 12 step program mainly benefit the sponsors more than the sponsee in helping them to be more motivated staying "sober". This is strictly survivors bias; nothing more, nothing less. And congeniality bias plays a heavy hand as well. Again, survivors bias; nothing to do with a higher power.
Well I believe in a lower power, pale blue dot; the only thing we all have in common. Factor in time, the fourth dimension; our commonality can be narrowed down even more to the very center of the earth.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
Every time I try explaining my faith, in an attempt weaning out the weak hearted one in order for me to find an appropriate sponsor, I get shut down; very similar to the way the Bob and Janet Gary are behaving.
I'm even more convinced, John 3:16 is nothing more than a cognitive dissonance/dissonance reduction chant. No wonder Robin Williams the Episcopalian committed suicide! Same ritual; half the guilt.
I've also discovered through my research on the 12 steps programs, different groups are allowed to alter the wording of the 12 steps. Isn't it interesting that gamblers anonymous deletes all reference to a higher power. However, I'm sure I will be made to feel just as much a deviant stigma among deviant stigmata as I was made to feel by those people of faith within the crystal meths anonymous meetings.
As roughly 80% of America is made up of our Christians alone, I'm pretty sure this is nothing more and a marketing ploy trying to appeal/help that largest majority; nothing more, nothing less.
Trading in one dope for another is definitely not the answer to my problem with the crystal meths. And the dope you push is definitely not the answer to the problems our world faces. Are you aware, because of the Gary's, I'm not even able trying to solicit a support group from within the same church I was raised first eighteen years of my life; the most impressionable years of my life?
What's is the difference between someone who is a good Christian, someone who is a bad Christian, and someone who is not a Christian? Or what is it they have in common?
$130.00 per hour...maybe?
"Oh we're not that kind of Christian!" said Janet the first day we met as neighbors; Janet crossing over to my side of the street, first, just to tell me all about them having been approached by property developers offering them twice the value of their lot to sell.
And all I said when she was done talking, "Well my name is James Avery. I am a veterinarian who lives in this house. Not only am I gay; I'm atheist as well."
So much for:
VIVA LA ECUMENISM!
Again, a returned email detailing our phone conversation regarding me seeking help for my crystal meths addiction at Care and Counseling Center of Georgia would help some, I hope, explaining my plight with our people of faith.

However, I'm sure I will be made to feel just as much a deviant stigma among deviant stigmata as I was made to feel by those people of faith within the crystal meths anonymous meetings; as if the hearing impairment wasn't isolating enough.
As roughly 80% of America is made up of our Christians alone, I'm pretty sure this is nothing more and a marketing ploy trying to attract/help that largest majority; nothing more, nothing less.
However, at the Galano Club, they actually do have a 12 steps program for atheist and agnostics; but I had to discover this on my own quite by accident, walking around the building reading everything on the walls one evening. When I went back to the crystal meth meeting in an attempt offering to the female who chairs this one group, what I thought should have been viewed as constructive criticism for not suggesting this atheist group to me in the first place first time around when I pulled her off to the side after the very first meeting I attended at the Galano Club in an attempt explaining my special needs (or any of the meetings since), the unnecessary stress this could have avoid for someone else in the future having a similar predicament, she became upset; walking away from me saying she wasn't going to listen.
I'm guessing, it going against her faith, recommending an atheist group to an atheist?
Then I stayed for an alcoholic anonymous meeting, checking them out. Although I had a nice conversation with an older black man after this meeting, had already decided during this meeting, saving any comments I had for the atheist/agnostic group's once a week meeting coming up the following week.
"Yeah!" I thought after attending this atheist group for the first time. There was one who even had everybody laughing, but me, during his monologue rant about some Christian football player's comment after a game. When I went up to him, after this meeting over, asking him the name of this football player, it wasn't even our miracle baby Tebow; some guy named Manning. Had not a fucking clue who this was, so I shared my gripe, privately, with him about Tebow instead.
He behaved as if we had nothing in common. Not even if he shared my opinion of Tebow or not.
Tried another one. This one behaved somewhat the same way; but not as bad. But he replied when trying to show him some of my collage creations of obvious atheist themes (expressive art therapy), "I'll be glad to sit down with you and look at these when you are sober."
"As if this would make a difference," I said having given up and just leaving, thinking to myself as I did so, "What a dumb fuck! This is alcoholic anonymous, remember?! I am sober! Remember me telling you that alcohol was not a problem of mine? Remember, you asking me if I was high on the crystal meths now? Remember, after I already told you how, after a while, crystal meths becomes only an hour charger? Remember, after me telling you how I went to work everyday under these conditions roughly from 1999 until having to do my own intervention Thanksgiving 2010; starting with the neighbors living across the street from me? Remember, after me telling you some about my Arkansan family? Remember any of this?"
All my life I have been made to feel as if a subculture of a subculture of a subculture; an uber multi-culture identity deviant sigma.
And what the God Damn Fuck is a "seasoned professional Christian educator". Working the same way as opinions do in how they put others of a different opinion in the awkward position of feeling the need expressing their opinions, sounds like another multi-culture identity deviant stigma? Ought to be anyway! I want to meet that wife of James Wagner! She might work?
Trading in one dope for another is definitely not the answer to my problem with the crystal meths. And the dope you push is definitely not the answer to the problems our world faces. Are you aware, because of the Gary's, I'm not even able trying to solicit a support group from within the same church I was raised first eighteen years of my life; the most impressionable years of my life? So much for their purpose being, "LOVING GOD. LOVING NEIGHBOR."
So what...IS...the difference between someone who is a good Christian, someone who is a bad Christian, and someone who is not a Christian? Or what is it they have in common?
$130.00 per hour...maybe?

Carol,
This is James Avery, resident of 1840 Mason Mill Road just down the road from Care and Counseling Center of Georgia.
Included in this email are the two emails I've sent to you this past December requesting from you, hoping at least anyway, you would provided me with some type of verification I'm able using as proof that I had contacted Care And Counseling Center of Georgia and spoken with you briefly about me seeking some counseling at your clinic.
Guess I'm just needing to keep this email short and asking if you have even received these emails ...first?
So far...have not received or been told anything in response to these emails.
Any information would be most helpful.
Sincerely yours,

Carol,
Thank you for replying back to me so quickly. Did not know whether to assume you were receiving my emails and choosing not to answer them, or, actually having trouble receiving your emails as well; so the story goes...?
This is going to be another quick email like the last one.
And...
I'm just wanting to let you know that... I HAVE... decided taking you up on your offer setting me up with a therapist at Care and Counseling Center of Georgia; individual counseling.
However, have more I'm wanting to say, first, before us scheduling my first session; but this email is taking longer than I was expecting.
Just giving you heads up that you won't like it; however, not the same as meaning you didn't need hearing it.
Until receiving this email, may want to consider answer(s) to question(s) I have made the "SUBJECT" title of this email.
I really do believe I'm being over and beyond...fair.
Sincerely yours,
James E. Avery, DVM

Hello Carol,
I just signed the petition "Dekalb county: DeKalb County: Enforce Code of Ordinances at 1840 Mason Mill Road." and wanted to see if you could help by adding your name.
Our (My) goal is to reach 500 signatures (actually more like 7 billion) and we (so do I) need more (lots more) support. You can read more (please do) and sign ( I did) the petition here:
https://www.change.org/p/dekalb-county-dekalb-county-enforce-code-of-ordinances-at-1840-mason-mill-road?recruiter=544165202&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=share_email_responsive
(The best way to read my postings, responding to comments by others, to this petition, is to scroll down to the bottom of page and click on "read all comments". Then scroll back up to the top of comments section and click on "most recent comments". You really do need to read these postings of mine as they do reflect on the character/reputation of (Pastoral) Care and Counseling Center of Georgia.)
Thanks!

P.S.
Here's the odd thing about this petition: first it was reaching a goal of 100 signature, then raised to 200 after reaching 100 signature, now having a new goal of 500 signatures. They certainly do seem to be a fickle bunch.
Well I've solved that problem...kinda. But the petition really isn't about me; it's about our Code Enforcers not enforcing DeKalb County's Code. And...I really have no intention of arguing my case in court again.
And can you believe this; not only is Rev.(MDiv) Dr.(ThD) George Robert Gary's Son-In-Law (husband to Senior Pastor Rev. Susan Gary Landry of Mt. Zion UMC) claiming he has seen me sitting...NAKED.. in my front yard in a lawn chair, Rev.(MDiv) Dr.(ThD) George Robert Gary's son ,Bert (Pastor of Owl Rock Methodist Church), is claiming:
SUPPORTER COMMENT
My family owns 1841 Mason Mill Rd. directly across the street from 1840. The owner of 1840 has harassed my family personally and online for years without provocation. My parents moved out as a result. We may never be able to sell property with the psychotic, drug-induced behaviors and outrageous, profane displays in the front yard of 1840. Be advised that he is a relentless, sadistic provocateur who enjoys notoriety and confrontation. Thank you for your prompt action.
"Relentless", "sadistic" provocateur?
Provocateur!
"My name is James Avery, I'm a veterinarian who lives in this house. Not only am i gay; I'm atheist as well."
~(Jim Ed)~
"OH WE'RE NOT THAT KIND OF CHRISTIAN!"
~(Janet Claire Seger Gary: The day Bob's bitch got off her short leash and crossed over to my side of the street first)~
Isn't that...ILLEGAL?!
I'm perfectly content losing as this is all about our laws favoring the "cautious"; those having a surplus better able controlling their circumstances. And anyone willing taking the time reading these comments posted up to this petition, I mean really really taking the time reading these posting will be able seeing this. But that the problem. And I see you, Carol, party to this conspiracy.
I've gone blind recently my right eye with a 15% chance of same thing happening with the left eye.
Already a patient within Emory Healthcare's maze of clinics; also in the process of setting up an appointment with Emory Healthcare for psychiatric evaluation.
But... already they've told me that I won't be able scheduling anything before November.
However...they did tell me they could set up a referral elsewhere.
How about we start with a one hour session with your:

"Clergy Sexual Abuse" sounds like a great place to start; with or without Bert and/or Susan present.
I do know that you have a right to choose your patients; but it would really be best, in the interest of all, you work with me on this instead of against me. Everything in my yard had less to do with "Freedom of Speech" and far more to do with needing "A Right to be Heard" by the "Right People Needing to Hear It".
Day after day. Day after day.
We stuck, nor breath nor motion.
As idle as a painted ship,
upon a painted ocean.
I do hope this can be arranged.
He prayeth best who loveth best
all things both great and small.
For the dear God who loveth us
he made and loveth all.
If not sign the petition anyway in an attempt ensuring DeKalb County enforces our Green Laws. Still allowing for the removal of five trees per year; still a lost cause.
Water water everywhere,
and all the boards did shrink.
Water water everywhere,
nor any drop to drink.
So why not?
Sincerely yours,
James E. Avery, D.V.M

Hello Carol,
Recently sent you an email (enclosed) requesting a more detailed explanation as to why CCCG is referring me to Winn Way Mental Health Service?
And I've yet to hear from you?
So I'm going to keep this email short, simple, brief, terse....
Clinical Evaluation and Court Ordered Services
We offer DUI Clinical Evaluations, Alcohol/Drug Evaluations and Interventions. These assessments may be mandated through the court, state, and/or probation officer, suggested by a lawyer, or requested by family members. The evaluations are used as a tool to determine one’s need for treatment. After the evaluation, recommendations are given as to the level of care needed.
Do you, or do you not, offer court mandated clinical evaluation for substance abuse?
Sincerely yours,
James E. Avery, D.V.M.

Hello Carol,
Would you be so kind as to expand on why I'm am being referred to Winn Way Mental Health Center? In what way is Winn Way Mental Health Center better equipped providing the help I need than our Care and Counseling Center of Georgia just up the street from where I live? Really! Would rather keep it in the neighborhood.
Please do keep in mind that I've already been on that side of Georgia's health care three times. And if I'm having to pay for it, I'd rather seek this court ordered substance abuse evaluation the place of my choosing. And I'm able seeing no reason why we can't at least start with Care and Counseling Center of Georgia? All I'm needing before my next code compliance hearing October 17, 2017 is a hard copy clinical evaluation report able putting in Judge Matthew McCoyd's hand. Maybe you are already able writing one up for our Judge McCoyd just being my neighbor up the street from me? God knows you certainly have no excuse not knowing way more about the circumstances involving defendant 1840 Mason Mill Road than Winn Way Mental Health Center.
Would this be asking too much our Care and Counseling Center of Georgia's clinical director?
Sincerely yours,
James E. Avery, D.V.M.
P.S. It definitely would be far more therapeutic for me being able sharing my deepest thoughts with someone of my choosing than someone else choosing. Surely this isn't an unreasonable request?
And one more thing, about a week ago, George Robert Gary, Sr. MDiv, ThD loops around the driveway of his daughter's property directly across the street from my home, and without stopping says to me, "You are doing exactly what you want to do." Until Bob Gary or any one of you "Master?of?Divinities" stop putting up barriers and start talking to me, I'm having no idea what it is you guys are thinking I'm wanting to do? That's something I'm thinking Care and Counseling Center of Georgia far better equipped providing the help I'm needing more than anything Winn Way Mental Health Center having to offer?

Mr. Avery, DVM,
If you do not want to go to Winn Way, you may choose to go elsewhere, such as AACS -- info@aacsatlanta.comor 404-594-1770. AACS also has an office in Decatur at 534 Medlock Road, Suite 201. Here is the website: https://aacsatlanta.com/#evaluations
Given the complexities of your situation, and your prior expressed dissatisfaction with CCCG and some of its employees, we believe that it would be appropriate for you to be seen at another facility.
Best,
Dr. Pitts

Hello Trey,
My name is James E. Avery, the mentally disturbed resident 1840 Mason Mill Road just down the street from CCCG with all the signs in his front yard. It's also the house directly across the street from where George R. Gary, Sr. MDiv, ThD (one of your counselors until recently) lived with his wife Janet Claire Segers Gary up until moving in large parts due to my strange behavior.
Anyway, I was actually trying to get in touch with Marybeth Hayes. And this email address is the one listed with her name under CCCG Leadership. I've since found a different email address for Maybeth Hayes listed under Faculty. I will just resend this email to her using this email address instead.
Thank you for replying back to me so quickly.

Hello Marybeth,
This coming October 17th I have another code compliance hearing which could end up with me in jail for 30 days; even probation revoked altogether and spending 4 1/2 years in jail.
And the judge is expecting a report, able holding in his hand per his words, showing that I have been clinically evaluated for substance abuse along with the recommendations resulting from this evaluation.
|
|
|
So I suppose, as "to what I would need," would be for you caring enough taking the time reading word for word the emails exchanged between me any my court assigned "public?defenders" leading up to this "THE TRIAL" as well as the transcript from this "THE TRIAL" during which George Robert Gary, Sr. MDiv, ThD. sat with his wife Janet Claire Segers Gary directly behind me in straight line of view of the judge might be a great place to start.
|
But before I go any further, I just want to verify again as a precaution that you are indeed the same person who stopped and chatted with me that one afternoon not too long before this sham trial which ended up with me under 60 months of probation. At the very beginning of this video I've uploaded to Youtube, this person outright denies being Marybeth Hayes? However, at the end of this conversation, this person left me believing sympathetic to my plight?
"This non-criminal-fact-finding-justice hearing you are wanting..? There's no mechanism... FOR THIS!"
~(Court Ordered Assigned Public Defender Ingrid McGaughey)~
"That is our problem then... isn't it?"

Unfortunately, although what was mostly just another monologue rant by me, the batteries to my camera died before we were finished. So this person's contribution to our discussion about how Care and Counselling Center of Georgia became involved with this petition against my property through a girlfriend of George Robert Gary, Jr. MDiv, which I consider to be the juiciest part, now boils down to being your word against mine.

Donna, you keep asking me if everything is okay? And I'm always at a lost for words, not a clue what I should say? So seven year later since that Thanksgiving 2010 having put into effect my own intervention with me being the one...first...telling everyone that I had a crystal meths addiction, I'm feeling it necessary asking you: what are you expecting to happen between now and when I use up the last of my cash reserve? Most time it is clear. I think it mainly happens with the longer ones since they always have the same time posted to them. It's probably my phone since it's outdated. Donna, I grew up isolated due to hearing impairment. Now that everyone is tuning the world out with their ear pieces, I'm even more isolated. My crystal meths addiction is not the problem. It's a symptom of all of you using it as your excuse being dismissive of anything I'm having to say. Until I'm able seeing a change in your behavior, you might as well go ahead and kill your grandkids yourself. Certainly would spare someone their own generations the trouble of being vilified having done it for you instead. And this will be my last attempt with you.

This is me and yes I did deny who I was because I was still thinking of renting a house in the neighborhood and you seemed off balance and I did not want you to know who I was, but you obviously did as you called me by name on that day. I should not have done so, I was leary about you and did not trust you at the time.
I stopped by, because I realized after passing you many times you were not always yelling, sometimes you waved. I wanted to talk with you. I left believing that I knew you more than just the guy who screamed at cars. I was impressed with you logic and intellect. I left with my impression that you were not just a crazy guy who yells at cars, though I do not understand your commitment to do so. And as you know I have waved at your ever since.
If I could take back my statement on nextdoor, I would, I have tried to find it online since you showed me the note and I cannot find it. I do not remember writing it, but it could be me.
I am glad to read the proceedings you sent, though I am not sure how that would help you. Are you asking me to write something about how we got the petition?
