Hello Kimberly,
Judge Matthew McCoyd is expecting a report able holding in his hands this coming Tuesday October 17, 2017 showing that I've been clinically evaluated for my crystal meths addiction.
The charges...?

Telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth...maybe?
How do you feel about Care and Counseling Center of Georgia's Clinical Director Carol Pitts referring me to you guys instead of accommodating my wishes that this evaluation be done with them? I'm convinced all these Master of Divinities/counselors are nothing more than a bunch of agnostic anonymous pseudo-egomaniacs...money launderers in sheepskins!
Anyway, can this evaluation be done and ready by Tuesday?
Sincerely yours,
Mr. Avery, DVM
P.S. I may not be "Terse" Pitts' veterinarian; but God knows someones ....NEEDS...to be!

Hello Kimberly,
Erotomaniacs! Not egomaniacs.
My bad.

P.S. Had I my way, would change the name of Emory's Candlers School of Theology to "One of Joy, Joy, Joy!"

Instead of reading any of my postings linked to within replied email, I get a phone call from Kimberly instead repeating the same questions:
"when would you like to come in for an evaluation?"
"what were your charges?"
Only Decatur location appointment available was for today so I scheduled the appointment for tomorrow with AACS's
downtown Atlanta location.
Per Kimberly,
AD evaluations only takes about 30-45 minutes..?
I can tell you right now,
the report is just going to be a one size fits all recommendation based on the substance abuse.
Nothing quality personalized medicine about this evaluation.
Just take the money and print out a report.

Dear Dr. Avery,
Have you made an appointment?
Thank you

Hello Ingrid,
Your question had already been answered within the email having just sent you.
There was also a lot of other information within same email that could have been useful to my defense as well.
However, I will go ahead and save you the trouble of needing to refer back to this email for the answer to your question.
Yes I do have a 4:00 PM substance abuse evaluation appointment this afternoon with American Alternative Court Services at their downtown Atlanta location which I am understanding will only take about thirty thru forty-five minutes of their time.
Intuition is telling me that you probably can already recite word for word what this report... WRITTEN?BY?PROFESSIONAL(S)... is going to be recommending to our Honorable Judge Matthew McCoyd as to what should be done with our Dirty Jim's substance abuse problem?
Regards,
Not Defined, Undefined, Unidentified~g(DEAD MAN WALKING)d~Mr. Avery, D.V.M.
P.S.
Ingrid, this is the first time you have addressed me as Dr. Avery.

It was really really stupid all of you...WOMEN MOST ESPECIALLY...not automatically showing me this respect as the veterinary profession is being overtaken...BY WOMEN!!!

Long story short, the evaluator abruptly ended the evaluation and refunds me the money.
"You just supported my substance abuse!"
~(James E. Avery, Herd Health Medicine)~
Actually,
he just plops five twenty dollar bills on the table in front of me then tells me to leave.
Before getting on the elevator going down, I went back to AACS verifying that Jacques Khorozian was the right business card for the person having just refused performing my court ordered clinical evaluation for substance abuse. Finding no one in the reception area, I started grabbing one each of every business card from a rack placed top of reception counter.
And was still in the process of doing so when Mr. Khorozian appears.
Becoming upset, he insisted I give them back.
To which I complied all but two.
"I only gave you one card!"
~(?)~
"You are Jacques Khorozian, right?"
~(James E. Avery, D.V.M.)~
"Yes."
~(Chief Executive Officer Jacques Khorozian)~
"Thank you very much."
~(James E. Avery, D.V.M.)~
Then I promptly left with the same two business cards having discovered myself holding while waiting for the elevator down the first time.
He did hand me a business card during this evaluation. The other one I had helped myself to from a card holder noticed placed top of small side table beside the chair I was sitting while awaiting him returning with what ended up being the money refunded I'd pre-paid online for a court ordered substance abuse evaluation now terminated.
Certainly felt no obligation handing that one back!

Hello Ian,
Almost missed the appointment myself!
Didn't anticipate the amount of traffic that would be on the road at that time of the day. Then, knowing that my exit off I-20 West was coming up, got in the right lane and ended up getting boxed in and onto I-75/85 South instead. After taking the first exit off then back onto I-75/85 North just to get back onto I-20 West, I ended up being on I-20 West with the exit I missed now somehow gotten to the East of me. Once I got onto I-20 East, no trouble the rest of the way except for being 15 minutes late.
Then comes the evaluation.
"I wouldn't call it that. I have a sign in my front yard that says [DEAD MAN WALKING/DEATH OF A SALESMAN]. It started at $70,000.00. We're now down to $6,000.00. As everyone is waving goodbye to me as they drive by, although technically a suicide, it's really a crime scene."
~(Simply Jim I Am)~
Already irritated he had not been getting the usually predictable brief answers to any of his routine questions (this sound familiar?), it was when coming to the question asking me if I had any thoughts harming myself throwing him for a loop.
"You do know that I have the capabilities taking steps having you committed!"
~(AACS Evaluator Jacques Khorozian)~
"Well don't do it now! At least wait until the money runs out first!"
~(Simply Jim I Am)~
Long story short...
Part way through the evaluation, Chief Executive Officer/Evaluator Jacques Khorozian abruptly terminates the cession, gets up, walks out of the office, comes back with a money bag, asks me how much I paid for this evaluation, then plops $100.00 cash on his desk in front of me as the refund for the $98.50 fee prepaid online for a court ordered substance abuse evaluation.
Then tells me to leave.
"You just supported my substance abuse addiction!"
~(Simply Jim I Am)~
As far as he was concerned, this session never even happened. Wouldn't even give me a written report, even unwilling making a call to my probation supervisor, stating his reason(s) for refusing a court ordered substance abuse evaluation that was suppose to be the reason for his business..?
And the so sad it's funny thing about all this, when considering I'm practically blind in my right eye maybe due to this crystal meths addiction of mine, it's amazing how this supposed to be non-refundable court ordered clinical evaluation for substance abuse appointment didn't end up being a horrible traffic accident getting people killed...instead?!
So Ian, any update on whether or not you will be allowed to document the proceedings of my next code compliance hearing coming up this Tuesday October 17, 2017?
Sincerely yours,
Not Defined, Undefined, Unidentified~g(Isaiah 9)d~James E. Avery, Herd Health Medicine
P.S. Really should not be telling all this to a ninth grader; especially when considering I haven't even updated my probation supervisor or public defender about this failed court ordered evaluation for substance abuse attempt. However you seem to be the only one listening..?
Hello Officer Davis,
While surfing through my emails, I came across an email started but never finished. And it highlights a point having discussed with you recently that early evening you having paid me a visit concerned about me not having been clinically evaluated yet.
Although started before eventually giving up and making an appointment with American Alternative Court Services instead, I'm thinking it still has some important points relevant to our upcoming code compliance hearing tomorrow. As opposed to Winn Way Mental Health Services and American Alternative Court Services' websites, remember all the happy faces I'd mentioned posted to Care And Counseling Center of Georgia's website?
So I'm just going to go ahead and send it anyway.

Thank you for replying back to me.
While still a veterinary student at LSU-SVM, I remember finding it odd how they kept telling us ... as veterinarians ... we would have the rights choosing our clients. Therefore, I was already assuming it would be the same with mental health providers. Well, at least with mental health providers the likes of our Care and Counseling Center of Georgia; "Pastoral" Care and Counseling Center of Georgia.

Clinical Evaluation and Court Ordered Services
We offer DUI Clinical Evaluations, Alcohol/Drug Evaluations and Interventions. These assessments may be mandated through the court, state, and/or probation officer, suggested by a lawyer, or requested by family members. The evaluations are used as a tool to determine one’s need for treatment. After the evaluation, recommendations are given as to the level of care needed.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
for Addiction Recovery
Our Program is provided in accordance with the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) best practices for level 2.1, which emphasizes an integrated, person-centered approach. An individualized treatment plan is designed to meet the specific needs of each client and their family.
An assessment will determine the appropriate level of care. The IOP level of care is highly structured and is often recommended for persons who need more than individual counseling, or for those who are stepping down from a residential or inpatient hospitalization program.
Most clients attend group sessions in the IOP program four times each week with individual and/or conjoint sessions provided regularly. We use evidence-based treatments including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based Relapse Prevention, and DBT skill-building.
Program lengths are tailored to each person. Research indicates that a minimum of 12 weeks of treatment is recommended to reach optimal benefit.

What is Addiction?
The American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) defines Addition as a primary, chronic disease of brain reward, motivation, memory and related circuitry. Dysfunction in these circuits leads to biological, psychological, social and spiritual manifestations. This is reflected in an individual pathologically pursuing reward and/or relief by substance use and other behaviors, despite negative life consequences.
Addiction is characterized by inability to consistently abstain, impairment in behavioral control, cravings, diminished recognition of significant problems with one’s behaviors and interpersonal relationships, and a dysfunctional emotional response. Like other chronic diseases, addiction often involves cycles of relapse and remission. Without treatment or engagement in recovery activities, addiction is progressive and can result in disability or premature death.
What is Recovery?
While Recovery begins with abstaining from alcohol, illicit drugs, and non-prescribed medications, recovery is defined as a process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live self-directed lives, and strive to achieve their full potential.

Before our next Code Compliance Hearing this upcoming October 17, 2017, it is my understanding that our Honorable Judge Matthew McCoyd requested only that I submit to a clinical evaluation for substance abuse. For this upcoming Code Compliance Hearing, a report of this clinical evaluation ... our Honorable Judge Matthew McCoyd able holding in his hands ... showing the resulting recommendations given as to the level of care needed for "my" substance abuse?
***
At this point, I thinking it fair to add, I will submit to what ever therapy the court recommends for my substance abuse, but I insist it be our "United" Methodist Church being the ones picking up the tab! This way they get to be the ones claiming all the credit for any of it's successes ... or getting all the credit for any of it's failures!
