Haven't heard from you in a while. And I've yet to even witness Officer Housworth inspecting my property. However this past Friday afternoon during the Emory rush hour traffic, an older woman from Code Enforcement came out to my property and took some pictures (video?) of me acting up on the sidewalk and of my signs. Or maybe I was just in the way of her trying to take pictures of the signs? I don't know! She wouldn't even get out of the car and talk to me; even tell me her name.
“There’s no reasoning with him,” Benjamin added.
CBS46 went directly to the source. Avery spoke to us about all sorts of things.
“I lean so far left in my political views, I even make the progressive liberals nervous, so I don’t know what I am, maybe a dead man walking, same as Jesus,” Avery stated.
We questioned him for 20 minutes. Much of what he said was hard to follow, perhaps due to his admitted use of crystal meth. Avery did make one thing clear -- his yards signs are there for one reason.
“They are meant to provoke discussion,” Avery stated.
After our first report in January, Avery was jailed for having too many signs in his yard. Now he only displays four at a time, which is within DeKalb County code.
CBS46 wanted to know about the content. Do the profane words on the signs break any laws?
We spoke with DeKalb County officials. They assured us inspectors are looking into it and plan on going to the property once again. Stay with CBS46 to keep you updated on what happens.

So why did DeKalb County officials send this woman out to inspect my property? Thought it was supposed to be you Officer Davis as my probation supervisor and Officer Housworth from code enforcement already keeping me under surveillance for any violations of terms and conditions of probation?

I'm doing nothing any different than before except for becoming more vocal on the sidewalk my property. But only toward the cars passing by my property. The way I look at it, whether the occupants of these cars be old/young, fat/thin, rich/poor, black/white, male/female, Republican/Democrat, short/tall, worldly/sheltered, healthy/handicapped, paying attention to the road/on their cellphones, etc., etc., etc., it's up to them how much they want to see and hear.

Well that's not exactly true. I actually do speak to the pedestrians passing through my property.
But I run and jump onto my driveway just off to the side of the sidewalk...first.

This is James Avery, the defendant 1840 Mason Mill Road.
Recently I had sent you an email accidentally before I was finished with it only to learn you would be out on vacation till the 24th. Well I'm still not finished with it as well as sick of seeing it collecting dust with all the other drafts waiting to be finished. Hard to be motivated finishing them when knowing you've been electronically silenced by most.
Would it be possible both you and Officer Housworth paying me a visit at a pre-arranged time convenient for all three of us? All of this is not so much a "Free Speech" exercise as much as it is needing a right to be heard by the parties needing to hear it.

P.S. Is it fair calling someone's problem a psychosis when the triggers for his supposedly bipolarism is the congeniality bias, both survivors and confirmation, of others? Is this fair? The way CBS46 is going about covering this story is only setting off the triggers creating the very same behavior the rest complain about. During our meeting tomorrow 2pm your office Camp Circle Complex, I'm hoping for a more sympathetic ear allowing me explaining in more details the reasons behind these sidewalk antics of mine and complain about the way it is being unfairly covered by these news celebrities/reporters.
And it will help a lot if we were able meeting where we have a computer with access to high speed internet? I'm wanting us watching these reports by FOX5, CBS46, even AJC, while pointing out the difference how they each covered the inappropriate signage 1840 Mason Mill Road out of context.
Meeting at your office is fine with me if able accommodating this request? Otherwise, could we have this meeting happening at my home? At least parking will be free for anyone showing up for this meeting, in the process, freeing up at least one if not more of these limited parking spaces for those having no choice but appearing for hearings by DeKalb County Magistrate Court located at their Camp Circle Complex.
