About Me

My photo
Hearing impaired (tendency to appear dumb, dense, and/or aloof), orthodox atheist (believe faith more harmful than doubt), self depreciating sense of humor (confident/not to be confused with low self esteem), ribald sense of humor (satorical/mocking when sensing Condescension), confirmed bachelor (my fate if not my choosing), freakish inclination (unpredictable non-traditionalist opinions), free spirit (nor conformist bohemian) Believe others have said it better...... "Jim! You can be SO SMART, but you can be SO DUMB!" "Jim! You make such a MARTYR of yourself." "He's a nice guy, but...." "You must be from up NORTH!" "You're such a DICK!" "You CRAZY!" "Where the HELL you from?" "Don't QUITE know how to take your personality." My favorite, "You have this... NEED... to be....HONEST!"

Todays eye exam...
sable.

I would have thought...
brief.

Unable baiting them into a discussion about anything related to religion and/or politics; even the crystal meths addiction's connection to religion/politics.

Interested in the eye exam only and nothing else.

Didn't even ask me about the mass found on pituitary gland with the orbital MRI; why I haven't followed up yet with yet another doctor?

And I'm finding it odd, how the receptionists alway seem caught off guard, and I mean all of them, every time I've showed up for exams; all of them scheduled well in advance.

As a good bit of time was spent at check-in verifying that I have been cleared to self-pay since I do not have insurance, can't wait to see how much this visit is costing me.

Believe I will cancel recheck exam for Flu shot scheduled September 16, 2016 with Surbhi Rohatgi, MD..

See no point of Emory Healthcare profiting off me with one hand while all the same choking me with the other hand.
