The trial for the property owner at 1840 Mason Mill Road is set for Friday, January 20, at 1:00 p.m. The trial will be in the main courthouse in downtown Decatur (556 N. McDonough Street) in courtroom D on the first floor.

We know the Judge was impressed that our neighborhood had such a large turnout last summer at the hearing where the property owner requested a trial.  Our turnout demonstrated that this was/is an important issue to our community.

We encourage you to continue to show up in this matter.  We encourage any of you who are interested and can attend the trial to do so.  It is important that we continue to communicate that we care about our neighborhood and are concerned about the flagrant code violations exhibited by this property owner.

If you need/want a ride to the courthouse, please respond to this email and the civic association's leadership team will try and arrange for transportation.

Greetings to all my not so neighborly virtual nextdoor neighbors both next door and not so next door,

Boy did that sidewalk turn out being a huge waste of money!  LOL

Would any be interested in meeting with me a little early at the front entrance to the courthouse, say, like 12:30 for a group pic with my Sherry Boston sign?
