Hello Alice,

This is James Avery the mentally disturbed resident 1840 Mason Mill Road.

When we spoke briefly after one of Glenn Memorial Sunday Worship services, you said you would be willing to schedule a meeting with me.

I have a court hearing coming up supposedly on the June 28th over my yard signs.  If possible, I would like this meeting taking place before then.

Taking place at my home even better but I've given up on this possibility;  but important that you understand how not agreeing to this meeting taking place on my property makes it too easy for others taking advantage of congeniality bias and loaded/emotive language against me (i.e. Bob and Janet Gary claiming that i "banged" on their door as apposed to "knocked" on their door, "harrassing" as apposed to "confronting", etc., ).

On a positive note, do want to thank you for allowing me to attend this reformation series of lectures.  Already having attended first three lectures; definitely looking forward to rest.

Brent Strawn recitation of  Mrs. Turpin and Mary Grace I found extremely entertaining; had to look up more:

Mary Grace's Human Development book is a psychology textbook often used in college psychology classes. O'Connor's use of it in the story is ironic because Mary Grace, who apparently suffers from some emotional instability to say the least, is the only one who reacts to the hypocrisy and prejudice demonstrated by Mrs. Turpin. This girl's emotional problems allow her to act out in a way her calm, reserved mother, who hears the same remarks Mary Grace does, never would.
Mary Grace must be an intelligent student, for she attends a prestigious women's college. She harbors a great deal of anger for reasons that are only suggested by her mother's references to her daughter's lack of appreciation for what she has. A psychology text could perhaps have instructed her in ways to deal with anger, but clearly she has no control because she attacks Mrs. Turpin violently.
It's ironic that she assaults Ruby who, although puzzled by the girl's strange looks and odd faces at her, is completely unprepared.  Psychologically, Mrs. Turpin then must wrestle with the question of whether she really is "a warthog from Hell." Mary Grace is the conduit O'Connor uses to afford Mrs. Turpin her "moment of grace."
I swear,  I feel like I know this person? LOL
Also found Brent's perspective on Josiah very interesting:
However it has been noted that the story of the repairs to the Temple is based on those ordered by Joash an earlier Judean king in 2 Kings 12.
Hilkiah brought this scroll to Josiah's attention. Josiah consulted the prophetess Huldah, who assured him that the evil foretold in the document for nonobservance of its instructions, would come, but not in his day; "because," she said, "thine heart was tender and thou didst humble thyself before the Lord."  An assembly of the elders of Judah and Jerusalem and of all the people was called, and Josiah then encouraged the exclusive worship of Yahweh, forbidding all other forms of worship. The instruments and emblems of the worship of Baal and "the host of heaven,"were removed from the Jerusalem Temple. Local sanctuaries, or High Places, were destroyed, from Beer-sheba in the south to Beth-el and the cities of Samaria in the north. Josiah had pagan priests executed and even had the bones of the dead priests of Bethel exhumed from their graves and burned on their altars. Josiah also reinstituted the Passover celebrations.
According to 1 King 13 :1-3 an unnamed "man of God" (sometimes identified as Iddo) had prophesied to King Jeroboam of the northern Kingdom of Israel (Samaria), approximately three hundred years earlier, that "a son named Josiah will be born to the house of David" and that he would destroy the altar at Bethel. And the only exception to this destruction was for the grave of an unnamed prophet he found in Bethel (2 King 23:15-19), who had foretold that these religious sites Jeroboam erected would one day be destroyed. Josiah ordered the double grave of the "man of God" and of the Bethel prophet to be let alone as these prophecies had come true.
Josiah's changes are described in two accounts in the Bible, 2 Kings 22-23, and 2 Chronicles 34-35. They began with the ending of ancient Israelite religious practices, and the astral cults that had become popular in the 8th Century, and led to centralisation of worship in Jerusalem, and the destruction of the temple at Bethel.
According to the later account in 2 Chronicles, Josiah destroyed altars and images of pagan deities in cities of the tribes of ManassehEphraim, "and Simeon, as far as Naphtali", which were outside of his kingdom, Judah, and returned the Ark of the Covenant to the Temple.
And I can't help but wonder if anyone has noticed the similarity of Josiah with I.S.I.S. other than me?  Do I, or do I not, chance another "letter of criminal trespassing" just for asking?
Please don't pull the same number on me, "can I boll it down" that our Rev. Dr. Beth asked of me before declining a meeting with me.
Sincerely yours,
James E. Avery, D.V.M.

Hi James,

Outlook now has a Clutter folder where it randomly sends emails.  I only discovered Clutter a few weeks ago and still forget to check it.  I found your email there this morning along with others I need to return.  I am leaving today for a time of vacation and will not return until July 9.  I plan to preach on July 10 and leave immediately afterwards for the Southeastern Jurisdictional Conference at Lake Junaluska.  I am on the nominating committee, and I have to be there by 3:00 p.m. on that Sunday.  Since I am leaving today, I will not be able to meet with you before June 28.

I am glad that your experience with the Reformation class has been positive.  It is one of more popular educational events each year.

Sincerely,

Alice

Hello Alice,

Unknow to me, the court hearing had been rescheduled to July 12th, 2016.

From the Mason Mill Civic Association – Code Enforcement

Several code violations citations have been issued by the County for 1840 Mason Mill. The violations pertain to the aggregate square footage of signage allowed on a residential lot and the distance of signs and outdoor displays from the curb line of the street. Code enforcement officers are monitoring the situation, and are well aware that the resident continues to disregard the regulations. The court date originally scheduled in June has been moved, at the resident’s request, to Tuesday, July 12th at 9:00 a.m. The case will be heard in the Magistrate’s Court located at 3630 Camp Circle, Decatur, GA 30032. We have been told that with the strengthening of the code enforcement process this past year, it is not enough for a defendant to enter a plea and pay a fine; now, no case is disposed of until the matter is finally rectified. While residents will not be called to testify at this hearing, it is important that we have a good turnout of concerned citizens in the courtroom. We will keep you posted if the date and time change.

I found the above entry within Citizens of Victoria Estate's newsletter the COVE REPORT later that evening after having already gone to the trouble showing up for my court hearing on June 28th, 2016.  Unless I'm reading this incorrectly, sounds like they are being told that I'm the one having made this request that the court date be rescheduled to another date.  This is not true.  Anyway,  seems everyone knew that my court hearing had been rescheduled but me..?  And I'm unable finding out just who is going to be showing up at this court hearing as well.

Not only am I hearing impaired and losing more as I age; it's everyone one else who are already deaf.  Not only have I pretty much lost all vision my right eye with the possibility same thing happening with left eye; it's everyone else who are already blind.   What is everyone so afraid of?

Dear Jim,

I really thought I would have heard from you by now.  Please let me hear.

I talked to Brother Fish this morning.   He has called that church.  And they do know who you are.  He tried to talk to them but he said they were neither very friendly nor very helpful.  He feels like there is nothing else he can do.  He has been very nice.

Nina made the trip to Augusta without having any trouble.  She stayed five full days.  When she left she really didn't know how long she would stay.  That's over a twelve hour drive.

Donna is very busy baby sitting.  The girls really need her help right now.  She's been sick but is feeling better.  She thinks maybe we can visit you during Spring Break.

The winter here has been so mild that the daffodils are beginning to bloom.  They bloom a little earlier each year.  I sure would like to see you reclaim your yard.  This is the time to start cutting everything back (except spring blooming plants).

My writing is so messy I'm embarrassed to mail this.  If I rewrote it, it probably wouldn't be any better.

Love you,

Mom

Although you will not be back in time for us meeting before my court hearing July 12th, I'm still requesting a meeting with you.

I will take the soonest date you have available?

Sincerely yours,

James E. Avery, DVM

Hello Alice,

Sent you an email July 6th.  Since I have not heard back from you, I'm going to assume that it's maybe time for Alice checking out that "clutter" folder again?  ;)

If one of you two would let me know that you've have received this email, would be nice.  So unfair of  me being labeled "disruptive" when showing up delivering hard copies of these emails in person.

As we must first be introduced to God before being aware of God.  As the first eighteen years of my life, the most impressionable years, were entrusted to the care of the "United" Methodist Church. As stuff put into our heads as children never really go away.  Regardless of how I label myself as an adult, I've only recently come to the realization that I have always been, and forever always will be, Methodist until the day I die no less than Jesus ever stopped being a Jew.

And I really do believe I ought to have some rights expecting of the "United" Methodist Church  accepting some responsibility for failing me as a child if they are going to fault me in any way as the man I am today.

Instead of focusing on my flaws, how about  us working together and seeing if we can discover anything this First "United" Methodist Church of Prescott, Arkansas got right those first eighteen years of my life?  If this church, located on the liberal arts and science campus of secular Methodist Emory University unable doing this, what then was ever right about my parents entrusting a child of theirs to this Methodist Church in the first place?

Also wanting to let you know that the actual trial will be August 9th, 2016 at 2:00 P.M.  And it's important to me that I be allowed the opportunity for you hearing what I'm pretty sure will not be allowed testifying during my court hearing (non-hearing) over these signs.

Sincerely yours,

James E. Avery,  D.V.M.

Hello Alice,

Thank you for replying back to me.

I've been available now for almost six years. Do not count my meeting with Josh at Ink & Elm because of the confusion/distraction created by this non-existing restraining order that was supposedly being kept with the Emory Police barring me from being on the grounds of Glenn Memorial (UMC)  and even the campus of Emory University (Emory Healthcare)..

Thursday August 4, at 3:00 p.m. will be fine.

Although I'm still preferring this meeting taking place at my home,   I'm assuming you have someplace else in mind?

Thank you again,

James E. Avery

Hi James,

I would like to meet at the church office.  You have named on several occasions that you are mentally ill, and I would feel much safer meeting at the church office.

Sincerely,

Alice
