Hello Alice,
Unknow to me, the court hearing had been rescheduled to July 12th, 2016.
From the Mason Mill Civic Association – Code Enforcement
Several code violations citations have been issued by the County for 1840 Mason Mill. The violations pertain to the aggregate square footage of signage allowed on a residential lot and the distance of signs and outdoor displays from the curb line of the street. Code enforcement officers are monitoring the situation, and are well aware that the resident continues to disregard the regulations. The court date originally scheduled in June has been moved, at the resident’s request, to Tuesday, July 12th at 9:00 a.m. The case will be heard in the Magistrate’s Court located at 3630 Camp Circle, Decatur, GA 30032. We have been told that with the strengthening of the code enforcement process this past year, it is not enough for a defendant to enter a plea and pay a fine; now, no case is disposed of until the matter is finally rectified. While residents will not be called to testify at this hearing, it is important that we have a good turnout of concerned citizens in the courtroom. We will keep you posted if the date and time change.
I found the above entry within Citizens of Victoria Estate's newsletter the COVE REPORT later that evening after having already gone to the trouble showing up for my court hearing on June 28th, 2016. Unless I'm reading this incorrectly, sounds like they are being told that I'm the one having made this request that the court date be rescheduled to another date. This is not true. Anyway, seems everyone knew that my court hearing had been rescheduled but me..? And I'm unable finding out just who is going to be showing up at this court hearing as well.
Not only am I hearing impaired and losing more as I age; it's everyone one else who are already deaf. Not only have I pretty much lost all vision my right eye with the possibility same thing happening with left eye; it's everyone else who are already blind. What is everyone so afraid of?

Dear Jim,
I really thought I would have heard from you by now. Please let me hear.
I talked to Brother Fish this morning. He has called that church. And they do know who you are. He tried to talk to them but he said they were neither very friendly nor very helpful. He feels like there is nothing else he can do. He has been very nice.
Nina made the trip to Augusta without having any trouble. She stayed five full days. When she left she really didn't know how long she would stay. That's over a twelve hour drive.
Donna is very busy baby sitting. The girls really need her help right now. She's been sick but is feeling better. She thinks maybe we can visit you during Spring Break.
The winter here has been so mild that the daffodils are beginning to bloom. They bloom a little earlier each year. I sure would like to see you reclaim your yard. This is the time to start cutting everything back (except spring blooming plants).
My writing is so messy I'm embarrassed to mail this. If I rewrote it, it probably wouldn't be any better.
Love you,
Mom
Although you will not be back in time for us meeting before my court hearing July 12th, I'm still requesting a meeting with you.
I will take the soonest date you have available?
Sincerely yours,
James E. Avery, DVM
