"Would you like to come back next summer?"
~(My Mother)~
"NO!"

Why Tanako? | Camp Tanako: Camp Tanako is an all-too-rare treasure among Christian camps. Tanako offers the classic summer camp experience as a tool for growing faith in young people. Kayak, canoe, sing, swim, worship, cook out, hike, and experience the challenge course all while learning about God’s love for us. Horse programs are offered, and older campers have exciting opportunities to travel off-site on trips to experience amazing wilderness areas in Arkansas and beyond!
The program is designed to provide high-participation experiences for the campers. This is accomplished through small group living, where eight to 12 young people are paired with two counselors for the week, making age-appropriate decisions together about their activities for the week. Within these groups, campers learn how to live in Christian community while learning outdoor camping skills and doing group building activities. Come join us for the experience of a lifetime!
A week at church camp can be a life-changing experience for children and youth. New milestones are reached on faith journeys as young people live and talk about the gospel with caring, trained and screened staff and volunteers. Decisions are made, new skills are learned, new friendships are forged, and campers go home with tools that will last a lifetime.

One afternoon,
the male counselor took all of us boys down to the lake to teach us a song,
Goodnight, ladies! Goodnight, ladies! Goodnight, ladies! We're going to leave you now.
That evening after it got dark,
these counselors led us wearing nothing but a towel wrapped around us to the playground field on the other side of the camp just below the cabins for the female campers; having us serenade these girls with this song.
I'm pretty sure nothing more than an attempt by a horny counselor trying getting into the shorts of another counselor.
They did seem to get pretty excited the way all them lights started coming on.
Anyway,
Camp Pioneer, a boy scouts of America camp, way more fun.
